public movie screening. for free. the best thing ever. such a nice park with a unbelivable view over lower manhattan. astonishing. we saw alfred hitchcock's rear window. amazing. will be back.
impressive atmosphere. in a place so many beloved ones have come to their rest. a place where grief and love is almost touchable. so close together for hundreds of years.
this day was a black day for more people than it should have been. they all wanted to feel the love. have a good time, laugh and party. live is cruel. mostly in times it should not be. in memory of all duisburg victims. things like this should not happen. this is what everyone says. when it's too late. when it already happend. but love must remain. because it's what they believed in. it has more power than rage and grief. it is the small guiding light. when darkness tries tu lure you. when it tries to comfort you like a caring veil. love will remain.
the heat was inhuman. almost 105° farenheit. it filled the streets. it drippt from the sky, my skin. bodies drained from water. longing for shadow, darkness and air-cons. but still. it was a beautyful day. i would not haver wanted to miss it. williamsburg is hot. in temperature as well as in being the place it is.
the most exciting place in nyc for everyone who's addicted to beautyful things that make garments special. so shiny, so funny and silly. just love it. its' wow! thousands of trims. and you will want to have them all!
well that's maybe how work in a design office is. doing things on illustrator. calling about 200 people about sales. and sending them e-mails. well no creative work till now. no lingerie at all. i'm a bit sad. but we'll see how it turns out.
chelsea outdoor market antiques garage flea market
i love antique trash. but sadly most things are too expensive. and where to put them. it's just to own them. to know their your own treasures. foud all over the world brought to your home. pieces with history. once loved by a random stranger. now loved by me.
at this time my favourites. love the low and trashy buildings. the fire latters and the innocent freedom they stay for. to meet there. talk, stroke the cat and have a cigarette. it's life. hip but real.
probably the dirtiest place in nyc. but one of the most exciting ones. foodstands and trash-shops all the way up and down the crowded streets. from fish to naked pork to chinese mushrooms. wow. and it's all in chinese.
two places with a great meaning. to the citizens of new york. and all over the world. freedom. and it's price. the happyness you find in it and the way you have to suffer from it. impressionable.
after an almost 10 hours flight i landed at newark liberty airport. bought a ticket. set off to the heart of manhattan. only to realize that the reservation at the hostel was cancelled. shit. so i made some random street pics. till i had it all sorted out.
the most beautyful evening out. lovely setting. with a pool and lawn. food and drinks. all for free. loved it. the stuff too. a summer night's dream. can't stop.
